A little late because of our very busy schedule this year but I still wanted to share a great wedding that we photographed of Kathryn & Evan who were married at the Hall of Springs on May 29th, 2011. They had a beautiful sunny day where the sun was bright, the sky was blue, and everybody was excited for the two of them to say I Do! We hope you enjoy viewing a few of their images that we captured and created on their special day!

The cocktail hour and the food were plentiful. The guests could not stop talking about the presentation.

Every detail they spent time thinking about, really brought the reception together!

Kristina’s flowers were mad by Central Market and were absolutely beautiful! Below are a few image details of her dress, flowers and wedding bands.

Kristina loves the New York Yankees, so she made the team apart of their special day! I found this figurine in a cabinet as I was walking around the house and surprised them with this photo.

Chris is so romantic and surprised his bride with some wedding day flowers and a lovely card.

We started the day at the beautiful Glen Sanders Suite where Sara was getting ready for the wedding.

Sara’s dress was amazing and we loved the color. She was truly a “Winter Princess” in it and I am sure it will take Brandon’s breath away!

I always love photographing the wedding bands in different places and LOVE the ones below Berry much!

The “Future Mrs. France” was so excited, you could see the emotion and happiness in her expressions.

Wow! Sara is just gorgeous! These are some of our favorite images from the day.

So I am turning back the clock today to February 19th, 2011, where we had the honor of photographing Brigitte & Chris’s wedding at Longfellows Restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY. It was a very cold day, the kind of cold that you feel deep in your bones but that was not going to stop Brigitte & Chris from having a great day.

Brigitte’s wedding dress was classic and it reminded me of something “Jackie O” would have warn. Her flowers were created by Briarwood Flower & Gift Shoppe in Ballston Spa and were the perfect size for her.

Brigitte’s Mom was there to share in the special moment and helping her daughter prepare for her big day. Her make-up was completed by Lipstick N Lashes and she looked radiant.

Brigitte & Chris decided to have a “First Look,” so that they could complete the formal photography and still be able to enjoy their cocktail hour. The bridge at Longfellows is the perfect spot for a Groom to see his Bride for the first time on their wedding day.

Once the Bride & Groom had a moment alone, we started to photograph the bridal party and you could immediately see that everyone started to have a great time. The guys joking and fooling around really helped with Chris’s expressions.

Should we dare to take the two of them outside on this bitterly cold day? We dare… and captured some great moments!

The image below was captured by Wanda through a hole in the wall. How cool is that!

They all loved to fool around for the wedding, here they sneak a peek at the bride eating a few crackers before the ceremony.

It’s that time… time to be married and commit your love for each other. The smiles on their faces tells the whole story.

Winter weddings are becoming more and more popular. This wedding is a prime example the you don’t need sun and green grass to have great wedding images. Jessica’s dress was gorgeous and her deep red roses from Posie Peddler were the bomb!

Jessica was eager to get ready and truly looked like a Princess. I love this photo of Jessica below, her eyes are captivating.

The back of her dress had great detail, here is two of my favorite images of her.

Here Jessica is all smiles as she see’s her Dad for the first time on her wedding day. This moment is one of my favorites… it’s always emotional.

The guys had fun from the start, it all started on a high note and the guys were a lot of fun to photograph.

The ring bearer was very cute and had a great smile, unfortunately in a couple of hours he will be scared to death by dancing bananas!!

We all know you can’t have a winter wedding without a little football. Don’t worry Jessica no one was injured in the making of this photo.

This little guy will remember this forever. My favorite photo of all the guys.

Bobby having a little fun in the snow. A camp fire seemed appropriate.

A great photo of Bobby right before the ceremony, just look into his eyes and you can see how happy he is.

No matter what time of year it is I love working at the HOS… love those icicles!

Jessica looks at Bobby for the first time that day as she walks down the isle and they both were smiling from ear to ear.

It was a great ceremony and love the part where they joined the parents to light the candles. Nice touch!

The introductions were really unique, they even stopped to take the time to “Strike a pose.”

The first dance is always one of my favorite moments of the reception. A great wedding is all about the moments.

The dance floor was packed all night and I wanted to share a few of the images we captures at the reception.

Unfortunately all great nights have to come to an end, we were able to sneak them outside for a few goodnight hugs.

We were honored to have the opportunity to photograph Jessica & Bobby and enjoyed capturing and creating  images of their wedding day. We wish them many, many, many years of wedding bliss. Good luck on all of your future endeavors!

One of our first weddings was in April at the beautiful Franklin Plaza where we had the honor of photographing Nicole and Anthony. This image was taken on a side street in Troy and I loved this particular area due to the “Grunge Feel” that it had. Sometimes the best images can be found away from your venue. Always keep an open mind, you never know what your photographers will capture.

I know… we always tell our brides and grooms to relax and be themselves. We don’t want them looking like mannequins or statues… except in the photo below titled “Loft Love.” We were in Saratoga Springs and asked the great staff of the Loft if our bride & groom (Greg & Melissa)  could pose in their windows like mannequins and to my surprise they agreed. After a couple of photographs they emerged from the store in front of some onlookers clapping and cheering.

A secret meeting place at Longfellows is where Jennifer& Lenny had their “First Look.” They were a great couple and we had a lot of fun photographing them.

On location at the State capital is always a favorite place but the car and attitude of this bridal party really made the shot! Hayley and Fred were married on May 8th, 2010 and their reception was at the State Room.

This image says it all, I love to see a groom loosen up and have fun with his bride. Jennifer and John were married on May 23, 2010 at Glen Sanders Mansion.

Every year I can always count on great sunset photo’s like this one, I love capturing them! This one was taken at Saratoga National Golf Club. Colleen & Bryan were married on May 29th, 2010.

On May 30th, 2010 Desmond & Crystal were married in a park and we stopped at the State Capital for some fun shots, this is one of my favorites.

School is in! This was a pretty hot day in June but everyone still had a great time. Joe and Amber were married on June 19, 2010 at the Pryne House in Latham.

Michele and Josh were married on June 26, 2010 at a private home in Saratoga Springs and one of the main locations for the photography took place at the Saratoga Race Track. We love the umbrellas and the attitude from the bridal party!

On June 27th, 2010 we were at Saratoga National for a great summer wedding. Christine and Zach had a perfect day and we were happy to share it with them.

Shannon and Eric were married on July 3, 2010 but before heading to the reception at the Desmond we stopped to capture this image in front of their church.

Brittany and Eric were married on July 10, 2010 and were spending a moment alone together. The looks that they shared all day, one could easily see how much in love they are with each other.

Using a little sun filter I captured this image entitled “Star Bright” for Andrea and Jeremiah, they were married on July 17, 2010 at Perthshire.

I love creating romantic photographs of the bride and groom, this one was created at midnight on July 30, 2010 at Glen Sanders Mansion.

The expression captured here of Stephen shows exactly how he feels, as he marries his new wife. Meghan and Stephen were married on August 7, 2010 at the River Stone Manor.

Rachel & Brian were married on August 21, 2010 and we stopped at Union College to photograph the bridal party.

Kelly and William had a little rain for their wedding on August 22, 2010 but that did not stop them from getting some great photos. Here is one of my favorites at Saratoga National on that day.

I love this image of Erin, who is waiting to marry Anthony her fiancee on September 4th, 2010.

Devon and Daniel tied the knot on September 5th, 2010 at the Albany Country Club. Daniel is a character and I think I captured that here.

A stroll in the park on their wedding day. Tom and Jessica were married on September 11th, 2010 and spent a moment alone enjoying each other.

The calm before the storm, one of my favorite places to photograph up in Lake George… The Lake George Club!

I love the challenge of photographing large bridal parties. I am always looking for something different and unique. I always love the look on bridesmaids faces when I ask them to sit on the ground. This photo was worth it!

This bride and groom live in Bermuda, no matter how much we begged they would not take us home with them.

Kate and Jeremy were married on September 25th, 2010 and were very romantic with each other. We could tell from the moment we met them that it was going to be a great wedding day!

The sky opened up and the sun shined bright for Jessica & Joseph who were married on October 1st, 2010.

The love of his life, Kristen had a beautiful dress and Tom nearly fainted when he saw her for the first time.

Katie and Ryan had a large bridal party and celebrated their wedding day at Saratoga National on October 9, 2010. They prayed for a great sunset that night and their prayers were answered.

October is a great time to photograph outside even on a chilly day. Here Lauren and Tyler enjoy a little wedding alone time.

Erin and Jason were married on October 30, 2010 and when they look into each others eyes, it’s as if they have fallen in love all over again.

Here is something different from Alissa and Sean’s wedding this past November. A little attitude and a great look can tell a great story!

Kathleen and Jason were married on November 12, 2010 and was our last wedding for the season. We love ending on a high note and we love night shots!

I personally loved the passion that Katie and Ryan showed to each other all day, that is true love and cannot be faked. We often get the privilege to watch couples as they see each other for the first time on their wedding day and it never ceases to amaze me when a tear falls from the Groom’s eyes. Emotions will get the best of you, no matter how tough you think you are. The photographs and the time flew by all day, it was hard to believe that we worked 12 hours that day… it went by so fast!

We LOVE working at Saratoga National Golf Club, the employees and staff are so friendly and helpful to our Bride and Groom, we would recommend them to anyone. Katie learned that first hand as Mary helped with her dress and Shannon was always there for Ryan and the bridal party. Whenever we are photographing there, we know that everything will be completed in a professional manner.

We started the day at the Gideon Hotel in the Saratoga State Park, which is where Katie and ALL the girls were getting ready. 1,2,3,… I lost count a couple of times as we were preparing to photograph the biggest Bridal Party of the Year! A total of 30 is what we were working with , which included those adorable flower girls and the handsome ring bearer. The following are just a few of our favorite images from their wedding day. The Wedding Reception will soon be starting, we stopped and took some time for some detail photos. When they look back in 20 years everything will bring the memories back as if it was yesterday.

Katie and Ryan definitely did not let us down, their first dance was very romantic.

The night was so perfect at SNGC that I could not resist taking some night photos of the venue.

There was plenty of dancing going on this evening and the band rocked the house all night long. Everyone did not want the night to end because they were all having a great time. However, we managed to take five minutes from the party for these ending photographs of the two love birds.

We had a great time being apart of your day and hope you enjoyed sharing it with us. You guys are great and can’t wait to show you all of the images when you return from your honeymoon. Enjoy!

Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful, decorated in blue skies and puffy white clouds. It was as if the day was ordered from a special “Make my day look great catalog! ” It was also the first wedding of the year that we had a chance to work again at the Hall of Springs. One of our favorite places to photograph, always great lighting, backgrounds and who doesn’t love all that great architecture? So you can say we were pretty excited and looking forward to Katie and Alex’s wedding. It took two seconds that day to get that smile and “look” from Katie and I was confident that we were we all going to have a lot of fun!

Here is the look! Her smile, her personality and those eyes… we loved her expressions all day long. She would say that she doesn’t like herself in serious photo’s but she is a knock out here. WOW!

It all started here and the words “I do.”

I just had to post two of my favorite images below.

The Bridesmaids, where do I start… they ALL were fun to work with and had great personalities. Look closely at the photo below and you will notice that they each have their own personality. I love it!

Katie and Alex decided to have a “First Look Meeting” prior to the ceremony in order to complete all of the group photos and enjoy their entire cocktail hour afterwords. Katie was so excited.

The meeting place was in front of the reflecting pool at the Hall of Springs. Alex walked to Katie, he tried hard to hold back the tears as he walked to her and saw her for the first time as his “Bride To Be.”

Their Bridal Party gathered around to witness the emotional meeting, along with the State Park On-lookers, all could see that they loved each other very much. I even had a chance to capture Wanda hard at work.

Such passion from Alex, I love this photo!

The entire Bridal Party in The State Park, what a great group to photograph and have fun with.

Did I mention that they were having a lot of fun!

Here the guys are being serious and hamming it up for the camera. This did not last long.

Don’t look now but your about to get married. Below is my favorite image from the ceremony, this is Katie, always happy and smiling the whole day.

Even though they saw each other prior to the ceremony, Alex still got teary eyed as Katie walked down the isle. I love his expression in this photo.

Of course working at the Hall of Springs we were able to photograph some great “Room” images.

The centerpieces were unique, I love the feathers!

The Wedding Cake was beautiful and I loved the flowers decorating it. Such detail.

I had to capture this photo of Alex and his niece, he was so proud of her.

The first dance is always a favorite photo to capture, I love Alex’s Mothers expression on the right. She was so happy for her son. Below you will find some of our favorite dance photos.

Katie could not resist putting one of the beautiful Wedding Cake flowers in her hair.

At the end of the night Wanda and I captured these images for their “Ending Photo” and they turned out great. Such romance and love, that you can tell they will be together for a very long time.
