Introduction

Large or small, we know that trying to plan and organize a family portrait can sometimes be stressful. From the very beginning Bruce and Wanda are there to help in the planning of your family portraits and will be happy to assist in any way. Formal or casual portraits all require some planning to make sure that your family portrait will be an heirloom that will last forever.

Starting with an in studio consultation, Bruce and Wanda will discuss clothing (casual or formal), location (in studio or on location), subjects (children or pets), style (traditional or contemporary), and will find out the customer's personal taste and feelings towards the portrait. The consultation will take approximately 30 minutes but is a vital role in making sure the customer receives the very best service in portraiture for their family. After the consultation Bruce and Wanda will then make an appointment for your family to be photographed. This appointment is for your family only! There is no double booking at the studio, so that if your family has little children, you can be photographed right away without waiting.

During the photography session, Bruce and Wanda will keep everyone relaxed and having fun. They will use creative poses, props, backgrounds and lighting to give your portraits a unique look. When it comes to photographing large groups they take plenty of pictures to make sure that they get one where everyone's eyes are open and looking good.

Casual Family Portraits has that natural look to the portrait. Bruce and Wanda try to capture the family as they normally are. These portraits tend to look more relaxed and natural.

Formal Family Portraits has a very formal look to the portrait. The poses will tend to be more formal but yet will have a feeling of family closeness to them.

Don't forget about on location photography at a lake, a beautiful park, or maybe your home. These different backgrounds will give your family portrait a one of a kind look.
