Wanda Curtis having no formal training has a creative eye and a passion for her photography,
which shows, in all of her images. Wanda is a member of Professional Photographer's Society of
New York and their local chapter, Capital Champlain. Here she continues her education and works
hard at shaping her creative style.
When it comes to child's play and her patience with pets she can't be beat! In all sessions at the
studio, Wanda will warm up to the children by reading to them or talking about their likes and dislikes.
She is able to take a frightened three year old and have them in giggles and grins before the end of the
portrait session. Her patience with pets has always amazed the owners, with her persistence and gentleness;
she can get any pet to pose for the camera.
"When I was a little girl, I loved taking pictures and rarely did I go anywhere without my camera.
Now I photograph for a living and find myself always thinking of new ideas and I am so excited when I
get that once in a life time shot!"
For Weddings, Wanda has a Candid and Photojournalistic approach. All of her images will be un-posed and
will tell a story of your special day. Photographing in Black and White, her images have a different
and special feel to them, almost like your Spying in on the Wedding Couple.
"I like to capture images that are true to life, capturing emotion and passion between the couples.
I also like to anticipate feelings between the parents and guests and always keep my eyes open for that
unexpected image!"
